Abandoned

This town was founded in 1908 and was abandoned by 1956 after diamond reserves depleted and richer deposits were found further south. Today, it is a popular tourist and photographic site where the desert sands have reclaimed the buildings, filling grand, pastel-colored rooms with massive sand dunes.
